Home Updates

We have also been busy trying to get our house in further order for when the baby comes and just to make it more how we want our home to look.

We painted the baby's room:

After we removed the lovely tape and wallpaper remnants the previous owners left

Started with the gray...

Had to add the purple quick due to bad clashing with the green :)

Had to paint the door and trim as well

Added the stencil that we made for it

It has made quite a difference and we are much happier with it now.

We also took out the second front doors (french doors) and window and put in a garage door.

The same day we took out the back sliding door and put in the french doors instead.

So now we have french doors in our kitchen and a working garage. :)

The following weekend we fixed our kitchen by putting in new cabinets and countertop and sink... but those pictures will have to wait for a bit longer.

In the meantime we also had Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and all that other fun stuff :)

California Trip #2

So for our 2nd Anniversary we decided to head out to California again. We went to San Diego area for a week. It was lots of fun and a bit different than the last time we were there but in a good way.

We went to the San Diego Zoo,

 San Diego Safari Park,

Sea World,

Disneyland,

We also spent a bit of time in Old Town,

At the San Diego Temple,

And of course some time on the beach where we found a live little crab. :)

 

We really enjoyed our vacation and wish it could have lasted a bit longer and we also learned that we need to plan a little better for our next large vacation so we use our time a little better. :)
