Turning 2!

On March 7 we celebrated Nakita's Birthday. We decided to do it the day before so that all of our family could come and celebrate with us as well. We got a big cake with balloons on it for her, which she was very excited about.

We also hung some balloons in front of her bedroom door the night before so that when she woke up she had to go through a wall of balloons. She wasn't too sure of what to think about that at first but enjoyed pulling them down to play with later.

Later that same day we also did the reveal of the gender of our baby that is due in July.

We put confetti in the balloons that would fly out once blown up and let go to reveal the gender

As you can see it will be a BOY!
We are very excited about this new addition and adventure of having one of each gender.
